Main Hall Sporting Activities

The main hall offers a variety of options for indoor sports including:

  • Eight badminton courts.
    •
  • Two five-a-side football courts
  • Two basketball courts
  • Two volleyball courts
    •
  • Two netball training courts
  • One County standard netball court

Squash

The centre offers four excellent squash courts with spectator viewing areas. There is also an opportunity to join the centre’s squash league and play competitively.

A smaller scale badminton court is available in the first floor gymnasium.
Table Tennis

Two tables available for this popular sport, situated in the multi-purpose room.
Clubs

The centre is home to many sporting clubs including fencing, volleyball, basketball and indoor cricket. For those wishing to learn the art of self defence or martial arts there are many clubs based at the Bunyan Sports Centre.

Outdoor Courts

The centre is renowned for its superb floodlit facilities and is the Netball Centre of Excellence for Bedfordshire and plays host to the Bedfordshire league.

There are six dedicated netball courts that conform to AENA specifications.
There are two sand based Astroturf football pitches and two multi-use courts.
